No abstract puzzles — just communication
Defuse the Bomb breaks away from traditional escape room mechanics and logic. There are no abstract puzzles to solve, no hidden clues to find, and no fixed game flow to memorize. All the information players need is available from the very start — they simply have to communicate and collaborate effectively to follow the instructions and disarm the bomb.
This makes it inclusive, instant to explain, and perfect for any audience — regardless of age, background, or experience with games.
One player faces the prop as the defuser — they can see the bomb but not the manual. The second player is the expert — they have the manual but can't see the prop. The two must communicate to disarm all five modules before time runs out.
After each round a score is displayed — allowing pairs to take turns and compete. Who can achieve the best score?
2–4 players all have access to both the bomb and the defusal manual (or additional copies). Teams work together to follow the instructions, beat the clock, and prevent the explosion.
The final score is calculated at the end — letting teams compete against each other. A quick, easy team-building scenario where everyone can participate simply by following the manual.
